Program – We dedicated this program to visitors who already had the chance to know Tri City and would like to experience “something more”. We suggest visiting a town located 90 km away from Gdańsk, where Nicolas Copernicus had been active for 33 years of his life.
Frombork – couch ride – Cathedral Hill – gothic Cathedral (with the recently discovered grave of the famous astronomer), Museum of Nicholas Copernicus (former Bishop’s Palace), Planetarium (located in the underground of Bells tower). There is a possibility to visit the upper floors of the Bell Tower, where a Foucault’s Pendulum is located (a device to analyze earth’s swirl movement). At the end of the tour we will visit the Copernicus Tower, which for several years had been owned by the astronomer and it currently contains an exhibition of his office.
Estimated time of sightseeing: 8 – 10 hours.
